6. Barista Cats Espresso Blend

Our Espresso Blend was created for coffee drinkers who prefer something richer, fuller bodied and more traditional in style.

The current blend combines Brazilian and Colombian Arabica coffees.

Brazil provides much of the body, chocolate character and rounded sweetness, while Colombia contributes structure and balance.

We roast this blend darker than most of the coffees in the Advent Calendar. The additional roast development builds body and pushes the flavour profile towards deeper chocolate, caramelised sugar and warming spice.

Although it was developed first and foremost for espresso machines, it also works particularly well through a moka pot and makes an excellent base for cappuccinos, flat whites and lattes. If you enjoy a stronger cafetière coffee, it works there too.
