24. Barista Cats Christmas Eve Blend

For the final coffee of Advent, we wanted something created specifically for Christmas Eve rather than simply selecting another single origin.

The blend combines coffees from two very different parts of the world, both of which you’ve already tried in the calendar. The first is our washed Sidamo from Ethiopia, the second is washed Typica from Papua New Guinea’s Eastern Highlands. Ethiopia contributes the aromatic and tea like side of the blend, while Papua New Guinea provides additional body, sweetness and depth.

We really hope you’ve enjoyed discovering 24 different coffees, learnt a little more about where coffee comes from and the people behind it, and hopefully found a few new favourites along the way.

A huge amount of thought goes into choosing the coffees for this calendar. We source through responsible importers and farms and pay a premium for quality coffee, with many of the coffees supporting smallholder farmers, cooperatives, women’s projects, environmental initiatives and other fantastic causes around the world. Thank you for supporting them with us.

If you’ve found a favourite, have a look in our online shop as some of the coffees may still be available. If you can’t find the one you loved, just get in touch. If we still have some green coffee tucked away at the roastery, we’ll happily see if we can roast some especially for you.
